Fraser, MI – IMAO Fixtureworks' Modular Pull Clamping System has expanded to include new riser screws that are used for raising workpieces. The riser screws prevent interference in machining operations close to the clamping modules.
Riser screws are used with the Modular Pull Clamping System which allows 5-axis machining without tool interference. This system can also be used as a mechanical zero point clamping system for quick fixture change with 0.005 mm accuracy.
Riser screws are available in a non-tapered version, or choose the tapered version for more precise locating.
Modular System clamp bodies are offered in flanged, double, and single types for a variety of mounting configurations. Together with the risers, tapered pins and clamping screws, this system is designed to save space and increase efficiency in a variety of clamping applications.
