The new CP150-20100 module provides a higher clamping force for large workpieces and molds.
Fraser, MI – IMAO Fixtureworks expands its Modular Pull Clamping System line to include a new 100 mm diameter size. The new CP150-20100 flanged module is perfect for clamping and precisely locating large workpieces, providing a clamping force of over 7800 lbs (35kN).
The Modular Pull Clamping System enables machining from five sides, resulting in better machining accuracy with a single setup. The cylindrical body allows for 5-axis machining without tool interference. Precise dual contact provides excellent locating repeatability of 5 microns.
Additional accessories that support the new CP150-20100 are also now available, including tapered clamping screws, tapered riser screws, clamping screws, riser screws and tapered bushings.
In addition to the new CP150 module and supporting accessories, the 5-axis modular clamping system includes other module types including flanged, double and single types. Together with the special bushings, pins and clamping screws, this precise locating and clamping system is designed to save space and increase efficiency in a variety of clamping applications.
