Form Holding Clamps with a machinable jaw are perfect for irregular-shaped workpieces. Simple workholding on external/internal form eliminates the need for custom fixtures.
When the cam cylinder is tightened, the central bottom part of the jaw is pulled down.
At the same time the eight jaw sections tilt toward the center for clamping.
Jaw Diameter | Max. Clamping Force |
---|---|
f65 | 4.5kN |
f90 | 7kN |
f120 | 10kN |
f160 | 12kN |
1. Prepare the jaw
2. Machine the jaw
3. Mount a workpiece
4. Tighten the cam cylinder
When the cam cylinder is tightened, the tapered screw is pulled down.
At the same time the eight jaw sections expand for clamping.

Internal Form Holding Jaw-
Can clamp a thin workpiece by distributing the clamping force through the eight jaw sections.
Note: Control the tightening torque using adequate tools in reference to the data provided by the performance curve.
External Form Holding Jaw-
Small cylindrical body allows for multi-piece clamping in limited space.
External Form Holding Jaw-
Can be mounted on an existing vise by attaching the clamp onto a plate.
External Form Holding Jaw-
Can clamp an odd shape that a chuck cannot clamp.
Designed to clamp onto the outside or inside diameters of the workpiece. Ideal for oddly shaped workpieces.
