Designed for use on horizontal machining centers, these screws attach to hook-type clamping modules to provide safe and easy loading and unloading of heavy workpieces or fixture plates. These tapered screws can be used for both clamping and locating a fixture plate or workpiece. (When locating is not necessary, use the CP166 clamping screws). CP165-L screws are used along with CP165-LH tapered hook screws and CP160 clamping modules. The tapered bushing is made from 1045 steel, precision ground, with a black oxide finish. The clamping screw is made from 4135 steel, quenched and tempered, with a black oxide finish. The O-ring is made from nitrile rubber.
