The locator receivers are used with flex locator pins. In combination, these parts are designed to be mounted on fixture bases and plates for highly accurate locating and positioning and allow for precise repeatability when moving to a new machine or different operation. Used in both vertical and horizontal applications. The through-style locator pins engage with the corresponding receivers by screwing down the single clamping screw through the pin and receiver. This retracts the spring-loaded receiver, allowing the fixture plate to contact the base plate. Made from heat-treated 4140 alloy steel, nitrocarburized treated and with a black oxide finish. The tapered bushing is made from 4140 steel, nitrocarburized treated.
