These spring loaded hand retractable plungers are used to prevent any change in locking position due to lateral force. Pulling up on the handle retracts the plunger pin into the body. The body and plunger are made from steel with a black oxide finish. The pin plunger pin is ground and hardened. The knob is made from black plastic. Supplied with jam nut. Screw-in washers to install the plungers are available separately.
