These side clamps feature a hex head on top that when turned forces the jaw forward. The hex head can be turned manually or operated with an impact wrench. Hex head is located on top which for easy access of a nut runner on automated production lines. A M6 tapped hole on the jaw allows for the attachment of workholding grippers (sold separately).

Body and jaw are made from 4140 steel. The hex head is made from 4135 steel, quenched and tempered, with a black oxide finish. The cover plate is made from 1045 steel, quenched and tempered, with a black oxide finish.
