Pulling up on the handle disengages it from the spline and allows it to rotate freely for adjustment. Releasing the handle engages it for tightening or adjusting. The cockatoo shaped handle is made from hard glass fiber reinforced plastic with an over molded soft plastic. The soft plastic offers a unique look and comfortable feel. The color is dark grey. Internal parts are made from steel with a black oxide finish.
